a space to reflect and connect
After the Global Anti-Racism Summit, we may be left holding a lot — emotions, memories, questions, and hopes. This group is a chance for Black, Brown, Indigenous bodies (Bodies of Cultures, as Resmaa says) to come together, take a breath, and make sense of it all. It’s a place to talk, listen, be heard, and share with others who understand what it means to move through the world as a person of colour.
I’m Janine Miller, a practising psychotherapist. These won’t be therapy sessions, but they will be therapeutic spaces — gentle, holding and reflective. We’ll meet once a month online for six months to keep the conversation going, support each other, and keep finding meaning in what we experienced at the Summit and beyond.

To foster collective healing and solidarity that positively impacts the communities you live and work in.
To explore topics such as race, ethnicity, identity, and intergenerational trauma without fear of judgment or misunderstanding.
To create space for shared healing from experiences of systemic oppression, discrimination, and marginalisation.
To acknowledge and understand the nuances of how racism, and the minoritised experience, is experienced across different cultures, countries, and contexts.
